For new or porous surfaces, we begin by applying a mist coat to ceilings and walls, and priming any bare woodwork before applying the chosen top coats.

To ensure proper paint adhesion, all previously painted surfaces with a sheen finish will be thoroughly sanded to create a matt-like surface. This process applies to ceilings, walls, and all woodwork.

We carefully repair any cracks in ceilings and walls by raking them out and filling them with a durable filler. Where necessary, we apply scrim tape for reinforcement, followed by a finishing filler to achieve a smooth surface. Any additional holes or imperfections will be filled with powder filler, while minor defects in woodwork will be treated with a suitable wood filler. All filled areas are then sanded smooth to ensure a flawless finish.

Cracks between woodwork, walls, and ceiling joints will be caulked to create clean, sharp, and professional edges.

Any stains will be treated with an appropriate stain-blocking solution, such as shellac- or solvent-based products, depending on the nature of the stain.
